Has anyone ever interrupted you while you were speaking? Or talked over your voice so you could not finish speaking? Have you been told that your ideas are all wrong? Or silenced for speaking up for yourself? Have you been laughed at or sneered at for stating your convictions? Or called names or worse yet a curse word when someone disagreed with your viewpoint? Have you witnessed public displays of rudeness? Have you heard other women spoken to derogatorily? Have condescending remarks been made to you because someone thought he was smarter or better than you?

Where did all of this come from? Why is being ill-mannered and inconsiderate of others so prevalent today? How is it that some feel so free to be rude to another?
