Since 1985, our family-owned company has been dedicated to serving you with superior quality nutritional supplements. Over the past four decades, we’ve grown, but our mission has remained the same—to support your health with the very best in science-based nutrition.

From the beginning, Mary Richards and Byron Richards, CCN built Wellness Resources on a foundation of education, science, and clinical expertise – with the guiding mission of helping people improve their health naturally. Their motto was, “If you don’t feel good, we don’t feel good.” We continue to offer over 100 specialty nutritional supplements to individuals across the United States and internationally who want to support their health and vitality! 

A Trip Down Memory Lane: Our First Formulas

In the mid-1990’s, we launched the Wellness Resources brand supplements to meet the needs of individuals with chemical sensitivities, allergies, digestive or thyroid concerns, or those who needed more absorbable, higher quality supplements than what was available. Here are some of the original Wellness Resources formulas that continue to be customer favorites—some names have changed, or formulas have been updated as nutritional science has advanced over the years!

Daily Energy Multiple Vitamin (formerly Multi Two caps) – At Wellness Resources, we used coenzyme B vitamins and Kreb’s cycle nutrients well before many other quality companies did. This cutting-edge blend of nutrients contains bioactive B12 as methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. These highly absorbable forms of B12 can help you maintain mental and physical energy throughout your day!

Activator Plus (formerly Multi One tabs) is another flagship Wellness Resources supplement designed to support liver detoxification, immune health, and thyroid function. It continues to provide solid energy support.   

RelaxaMag and Muscle Mag (formerly TriMag and MyoMag) - Long before magnesium glycinate became popular, Wellness Resources formulated RelaxaMag, a highly absorbable magnesium supplement for nervous system health. This continues to be one of our most popular products for all ages as it supports sleep, relaxation, calm mood, and improved stress tolerance. Magnesium is commonly lacking in the Western diet and is critical for hundreds of daily bodily functions.

Muscle Mag is also very popular as it supports muscle and cardiovascular health. It is great for occasional muscle soreness, cramps, blood vessels, heart and more. It contains magnesium malate and glycinate with vitamin B1, B2, B6 and manganese which supports mitochondria activities and processing of lactic acid.

Thyroid Helper – In the early 2000s, we saw the growing need for nutritional support for thyroid function. Thyroid Helper quickly became a customer favorite and continues to be a best-seller. It’s one of those supplements you really feel better taking!

Pantethine (bioactive vitamin B5) is an outstanding nutrient for many functions in the body. It supports mitochondrial activity, blood sugar and cholesterol metabolism. It is required for hair quality and growth, coordination, adrenal glands, muscle, mitochondria, joint comfort, GI tract health, and stress tolerance. It has been nicknamed the “clear-head pill” for its role in supporting CoA and acetylcholine production for memory and brain health. 

Super Coenzyme B Complex is a complete bioactive B vitamin formula. B vitamins are rapidly depleted with stress, wear-and-tear, ultra-processed foods and numerous medications. It may be used with as a stand-alone product or added with Daily Energy Multiple for “super-sized” B vitamin support.

Vitamin C Capsules– Early on, we introduced a highly purified vitamin C suitable for customers with allergies or sensitivities. This jack-of-all trades vitamin is most importantly used by the adrenal glands for hormone production and stress management. It is also vital for immune system, gut, mitochondrial, collagen/skin, cardiovascular health, detoxification, and more. Now also available in an easy-to-mix Buffered Vitamin C Powder.

Quercetin is a potent polyphenol bioflavonoid that continues to shine. It is well known for its benefits for immune, sinus, and gut support, mast cell and histamine management, and antioxidant for brain, heart, bones, and more.

We have recently introduced an enhanced absorption Quercetin Phytosome + Luteolin supplement that offers up to 20 times better absorbability. Luteolin, another powerful bioflavonoid, has been added making it a stellar product for longevity, brain, immune, mast cell and histamine, heart, mitochondria, NAD production, and healthy inflammation management.

Acetyl L-Carnitine is a form of L-carnitine that crosses the blood brain barrier and provides support for mitochondria activity and acetylcholine, the memory neurotransmitter for mental energy and cognitive function. Acetyl L-Carnitine is also used for peripheral nerve sensory and motor function and protection. In the mitochondria, it is used to burn fat for fuel which also helps the liver with fat metabolism.

Repair Plus (formerly Prolyt) - This blend of TurmiPure Gold Turmeric Extract and quercetin, with the proteolytic enzymes bromelain and papain remains a customer favorite for overall general repair support and more. Repair Plus excels at helping your body manage the effects of daily wear-and-tear in your tissues and organs.

Immune Plus (formerly Larix) contains ararabinogalactan, a prebiotic. It has been a customer favorite for young and old alike to help stay healthy. It promotes healthy lymphatic flow and helps manage mucous and drainage for ear and sinus lymph movement and GI tract support. It supports innate and adaptive immune function. It is available in capsules or powder that can be easily mixed in water, juice, or milk for very young children or those who have trouble swallowing capsules.
