Question: What are your tips for maintaining a youthful appearance? 

A: Aging is inevitable, but looking and feeling youthful is within your control! The key? Nourishing your body from the inside out. Here’s my go-to routine for glowing skin, strong hair, and a fresh, youthful look. 

1. Feed Your Skin 

Healthy skin starts inside. As we age, collagen production slows down. This leads to fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of elasticity. Give your skin the building blocks it needs to repair and renew.

Collagen Peptides 

Keeps skin firm, plump, and hydrated. I add Collagen Peptides to my morning smoothie to support skin elasticity.

Hair, Skin & Nails 

With biotin, silica, MSM, and sulfur-based nutrients to strengthen hair, boost nail growth, and promote glowing skin.

Hyaluronic Acid 

Feeds the hydration layer under the skin for supple skin and elasticity.

Powerful anti-aging antioxidants protect skin from oxidative stress. 

2. Hydrate!

A key way to maintain a youthful glow is to drink enough water and electrolytes, including healthy sodium. Limit beverages that dehydrate such as coffee and alcohol. Lemon water is helpful to keep my body alkaline and stay healthy.

The US National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine has determined that men should aim for 125 ounces of water daily and women should aim for 91 ounces daily. Of course, hydration needs can vary with activity, environmental, health, and pregnancy/nursing concerns. Either way, make sure you are getting enough!  

Add Electrolytes

Minerals like magnesium in Muscle Mag and potassium in Potassium Plus help keep skin cells hydrated and balanced. The proper kind of sodium is key too for optimum hydration especially if you exercise.

Eat Hydrating Foods

Cucumber, watermelon, and leafy greens support hydration from the inside out.
