In this article from the mayo clinic the question of the possibility of osteonecrosis being caused by the class of drugs used to treat bone disorders, bisphosphonates, is examined. The answer, and I’m paraphrasing, is “yeah, that happens once in a while and medical professional and researchers don’t know why but, keep taking your meds because it probably won’t happen to you.”
Think about that. Is that a good enough answer? Granted, the explanation is given that people who are already suffering from cancer or having dental issues are at a higher risk for osteonecrosis and if you don’t have these conditions your risk is lower. So, perhaps the risk to you personally is statistically small. Are you willing to take a chance drug that has the potential to destroy tissue in your body instead of making dietary changes and introducing supplements that are composed of the nutrients that make up your body and are designed to protect it?
I ride this point hard because it needs to hit home: Pharmaceuticals on the long-term are not offering your body anything in the way of building blocks and nutrients. It’s internal chemical warfare and your body submits only the symptoms to the onslaught of drugs while the underlying condition gains little actual improvement.
Once again, think for yourself and be aware of your alternatives. Take control of your wellness. Read up on what Wellness Resources has to offer in the way of bone health supplements: Daily Bone Xcel, Bone Helper, Daily Super Pack, Quercetin.
