Pine Nut Oil Reduces Food Desire

Monday, June 02, 2008  -  Byron Richards, CCN

Two new studies confirm the helpful role of Pine Nut Oil to reduce the desire to eat larger portions.  In one double blind study overweight women consuming pine nut oil1 as a dietary supplement reduced their food intake by 9%.

Your digestive tract helps to communicate “fullness” to your brain through a variety of hormone signals.  In another study these digestive-related full signals2 were measured in post menopausal overweight women.  It was found that Pine Nut Oil elevated CCK (cholecystokinin) by 60% and GLP-1 (glucagon like peptide-1) by 25%.

We live in a world of junk food marketing where brand identity and its “flavor” are based on stimulant chemicals that promote over-consumption of food.  Pine Nut Oil is a weapon in your arsenal to help combat the war on your subconscious brain’s desire to eat too much.
