The amount of weight gain combined with a lack of activity is a direct predictor of the presence of hardening arteries1 in children 8 – 11 years old.  This is a shocking report, indicating serious heart disease setting in at an incredibly early age.

One advantage of youth is the ability to change the problem with relative ease.  20 – 40 minutes of aerobic exercise per day starts moving everything back in the right direction.  This is a life and death issue with a simple solution.  Of course, following the Five Rules of the Leptin Diet is vital for these kids.
