Green tea extracts1 continue to build their case as an effective tool for weight management support. In the current study 2 capsules per day of green tea extract was given to obese individuals with the metabolic syndrome. Over an 8 week period the average weight loss was 5 pounds. Nutrients of any type are not a one-shot remedy for weight loss. However, when combined with diet and exercise they offer a path for individuals to help improve the efficiency of metabolism so that progress can be assisted. The obesity epidemic in America is out-of-control. It only makes sense to work with safe and non-toxic nutrition as the primary way to help unravel faulty metabolism. Share:
