Colostrum Improves Metabolism in Type II Diabetic Patients

First milk bovine colostrum is loaded with metabolically activating nutrients, including being the best dietary source of leptin available.  In a study with 16 Type II diabetic patients2 it was found that taking bovine colostrum significantly lowered blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides – all important improvements in healthier metabolism.

First milk colostrum is used by a newborn to support the metabolic demands of the highest growth time in life.  All must go smoothly during this time or their can be a failure to thrive.  Colostrum is the mother’s gift to a child, loaded with metabolic activators and immune system boosters.

A natural substance such as colostrum that contains leptin is unique.  Taking such a substance with meals will help get leptin into your brain quicker, thus reducing your appetite while also activating your metabolism.

Type II diabetic patients are often slower to respond to metabolic enhancement, because being type II means metabolism is already in a funk.  The fact that colostrum could significantly improve key parameters of metabolism in this situation is nothing short of amazing – especially since it has no adverse side effects of any kind.
