On January 15, 2010 the FDA issued a report saying, at along last, that it was concerned about Bisphenol A (BPA), a toxic additive in plastic so pervasive it is in 90% of urine samples. The FDA said it had “some concern about the potential effects of BPA on the brain, behavior, and prostate gland in fetuses, infants, and young children.”
