Powerful Antioxident Health Supplement

Pyc-50 is a health supplement comprised of grape seed extract. Like quercetin, it is another form of bioflavonoid antioxidant in the polyphenol family. There are over 4000 polyphenols in nature, varying in structure and biological activity. Grape seed polyphenols are known as oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC), a unique polyphenol structure enabling OPCs to interact with various proteins and enzymes relating to the circulatory system.* Our grape seed extract is a health supplement of the finest quality, concentrated for 92% OPC, with 12% being the very active monomeric OPCs. It has a Porter Unit Value of 330, significantly higher than most grape seed extract health products.*

OPCs are unique, not only acting as a potent antioxidant health supplement but also having a very strong affinity for collagen structures in the body, helping to boost the strength and integrity of collagen fibers.* Research shows they are highly attracted to the skin, gastrointestinal mucosa, and circulatory system.* In the circulatory system they help protect against degradation of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, which are the main structural components of the circulatory connective tissue matrix.* OPCs are known to help blood vessels relax via the release of nitric oxide, which also stimulates collagen synthesis as needed.* OPCs also act as a potent antioxidant along the lining of the circulatory system.* OPCs have undergone extensive human testing and are widely used in Europe as a health supplement to support circulatory health, especially for the integrity of veins and capillaries.*
