Vitamin D

There is now great concern that individuals are not getting enough vitamin D for healthy bone support. Many health experts now recommend daily intake of up to 2000 IU of vitamin D per day, especially during the winter months when vitamin D from sun exposure is minimal. Each Bone Helper has 400 IU of vitamin D. Two to three capsules per day, along with the vitamin D in other supplements like Daily Bone Xcel™, will readily boost vitamin D intake to the 2000 IU level.*

CalZBone

CalZBone is a clinically tested extract of the herb Cissus quadrangularis, used for over a thousand years in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. The Sanskrit name for this herb is Hadjod which translates literally to bone-union. Our product is an organically grown standardized extract. The typically studied dose is 750 mg a day (three capsules of Bone Helper™).

CalZBone research supports the use of this nutrient to promote healthy bones, maintain bone strength, enhance calcium absorption, and help maintain optimal levels of bone density.*

Cissus quadrangularis is an herb with a combination of many interesting nutrients including carotenoids, triterpenoids and ascorbic acid. Interestingly, Cissus quadrangularis has been shown to have a beneficial and protective effect on the digestive tract, helping to support the proper structure of the stomach lining.*

Cissus quadrangularis has recently been tested as nutrient support for weight management and was found to be helpful in combination with a 2,000 calorie per day diet.*

FruiteX-B

FruiteX-B (Calcium fructoborate) is the only food-form source of boron available for dietary supplements. It is a unique calcium-boron carbohydrate molecule. 5-Loxin

5-Loxin is a standardized and clinically tested form of the herb Boswellia serrata. It contains 30% minimum of the active compound known as AKBA (3-O-acetyl-11 keto--boswellic acid), providing ten times the potency of plain boswellia.

The boswellia plant has been used for thousands of years in traditional Ayurvedic medicine in India, and recent studies have shown its benefits in promoting joint comfort, knee mobility and walking distance.*
