Bowel Motility and Detoxification Capacity
Your bowel transit time, along with well formed stools, are important signs of digestive health. You must move digestive contents along in a timely manner in order to facilitate the clearance of toxins, otherwise your GI tract can become irritated from the toxicity and such toxins can re-enter your body (the leaky gut issue). If your GI tract isn't moving forward well it is much more likely to move backwards (reflux and indigestion). An ideal transit time is around 24 hours. Many people have poor transit, 2-3 days. The single best way to improve transit time is to add dietary fiber, as with Fiber Helper™.
Following the Leptin Diet supports healthy transit time. This is because eating too often is creates a repetitive strain injury to the digestive tract an overuse type injury, like tennis elbow except in this case it is digestive elbow. Three meals per day, with adequate fiber at each meal in the form of fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains, or supplemental fiber is absolutely required for normal digestive transit.
Numerous nutrients promote toxic clearance from the GI tract. Top choices include Daily Balancer™ which includes chlorella (general liver support and heavy metals), Sulfur Plus (especially if on a dairy free/low sulfur diet), and Immune Plus™ (bloating, excess congestion in general), and Quercetin. Detoxification challenges often accompany digestive problems, and if this is your situation it is a good idea to also read through our Detoxification Health Topic pages.

Fiber Helper™
Fiber Helper™provides a great source of three different soluble fibers that help absorb toxic waste products like a sponge. Many people do not get enough fiber because they do not eat enough fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Adequate fiber is essential for your bowels moving well and the final elimination of toxins – two important topics for a smooth functioning detoxification system.*

Daily Balancer™
Daily Balancer helps your liver clear toxins from the circulation and lymph system. It is designed to protect your liver as well as assist your liver with both Phase1 and Phase 2 detoxification chores. It is formulated to bind metal toxins, including mercury, and assist its removal. The skin under your eyes is very thin, readily showing blood quality and minor vascular swelling from trash irritants. Dark circles or bags under your eyes tends to indicate your liver could use some help, as does any sensitivity to chemicals.*

Sulfur Plus
This is a combination of MSM sulfur and trimethyglycine (which makes SAMe in metabolism), nutrients that assist detoxification. They tend to be especially helpful for individuals who have felt toxic for a very long time or can be very helpful for some acute exposures such as painting. This product is best used with other B vitamins (such as Daily Energy Multiple Vitamin or Super B Complex) to ensure enough of the B6, B12, and folic acid for proper sulfur-related metabolism. This product also helps hair and joints.*
