The Journal of the American Medical Association1 began the New Year on the right foot – which was quickly followed by the left foot – your ability to maintain a brisk walking pace as you age directly predicts longevity.

For example, if you are 75 and maintain a walking pace of 3 miles per hour you are likely to live at least 7 more years if you are a man and 18 more years if you are a woman. The researchers found a statistically significant increased lifespan based on walking speed in 9 studies that were evaluated.

I might point out that no such claim can be made for drugs or any combination of drugs. If older Americans stuck with a good diet, regular exercise, and other natural health strategies they would fair far better than the Big Pharma model of progressive drug poisoning during aging.
