The goal of chemotherapy is to poison cancer to death before the poison does too much damage to one’s body.  The liver is a particular weak spot as it is the organ that must process this extreme dose of toxin.  New research shows that Silymarin (milk thistle) can significantly reduce the liver damage thereby allowing for the potential of a more successful treatment.

This is the type of news that should be on the front page of main stream media publications.  The fact that a commonly used herb could profoundly improve cancer treatment by allowing medical treatment to work better is a major finding.

I consider silymarin a nutrient for routine use simply due to all the pollution we must face on a day in and day out basis.  There is no other single nutrient as protective to your liver as silymarin.
