Scientists Use Grape Seed Extract in the War on Cancer

A review of the current science on grape seed extract and grapes by University of Colorado Cancer Center1 states, “Overall, completed studies from various scientific groups conclude that both grapes and grape-based products are excellent sources of various anticancer agents and their regular consumption should thus be beneficial to the general population.” It is obvious that societies eating larger amounts of fresh fruit and vegetables have less cancer. Grape seed extracts are one of many concentrated phytonutrients that reduce how cancer starts, grows, and spreads. It is simply amazing that the FDA will not allow the makers of dietary supplements to make appropriate claims for their health products. This is not about protecting people from being scammed or misled, its about protecting an established 50-billion-a-year cancer industry that often falls short and an emerging cancer biotech industry that is the next Big Pharma great hope for profits (not by curing anyone but by managing their disease for an outrageous price). It is no small wonder that leading health freedom attorney, Jonathan Emord, has sued the FDA three times in the past month, defending your rights to have access to accurate scientific information as it relates to a dietary supplement product you may be taking.
