Probiotics Lower Colon Cancer Risk Factors

The health of the digestive tract is the foundation of health for any person.  There are more foreign cells in the digestive tract than comprise the entire human body.  Imbalances in the 3-5 pounds of foreign cells that comprise this digestive terrain are the cause of many health problems, including colon cancer.

A recent well-controlled study shows that probiotics significantly improve the healthy balance of power in the digestive tract, reducing factors known to cause colon cancer.  While such information has been obvious for a long time, it is interesting that even mainstream health news is reporting the findings.
