Noni has been used traditionally as a natural immune booster. Modern science is seeking to understand how many herbs in traditional medicine actually work. A new study helps to document how Noni naturally boosts immunity1. The researchers found that Noni helped the spleen produce its anti-bacterial defense cells from 32% - 55%. The ability of front-line immune cells to directly combat an invader was boosted up to 33% and the production of antibodies to help knock out a specific invader was also boosted up to 35%. The researchers concluded, “The results of this study confirm the cellular and humoral immunostimulant properties of M. citrifolia fruits [Noni] and justify its usage in traditional medicine.” Share:
