Neptune Krill Oil Joins Forces with BayerMonday, June 08, 2009 - Byron J. Richards, CCNBy now most of you already know what I think about krill oil – drastically overpriced and over-hyped for the amount of omega 3 oil it contains. Now we find that the primary producer of krill oil is joining forces with part of the evil empire – Bayer. Neptune is teaming up with Bayer to produce an omega 3 krill oil drug – gag, gag, gag. I never liked krill oil. I ordered some from Neptune way back when they first went into business to see if I wanted to add it to my product line. At the time the company was so incompetent it couldn’t make softgel capsules without them leaking – and Krill oil has to be the single most disgusting smelling product of all time. Neptune has obviously sucker punched the alternative health industry, using companies like Thorne Research and its Alternative Medicine Journal to over-hype enough “starter science” to put itself on the map. Its marketing efforts have been helped by practitioners like Mercola, who have bought into the hype. I explain all this in my article; DHA, Krill Oil & Green-Lipped Mussel – Which is Best? Now we see Neptune’s true colors – team up with a company that has its hands soaked in the blood of American citizens – a company that has never been adequately punished for its numerous scandals. These scandals include knowingly selling HIV tainted blood products to hemophiliacs, knowingly poisoning Americans and lying to the FDA with its Baycol statin, and lying to the FDA while killing as many as 20,000 Americans a year with its heart bypass surgery drug, Trasylol. All the FDA has ever done is slapped Bayer’s hands. It amazes me that Americans can fixate on one child, as in the story of the tot mom, when tens of thousands of Americans are silently slaughtered by a company with a very evil history – and nothing is done. No natural health company that believed in alternative health and its principles would ever team up with a company like Bayer.
