A major study in the Journal of the American Medical Association1 involving 400,000 participants shows that higher blood levels of vitamin B6 and the amino acid Building blocks of peptides and protein and have multiple roles of function in life including muscle function, growth, detoxification and metabolic pathways, and neurotransmitter function. methionine An essential amino acid which serves as a methyl donor and is involved with the biosynthesis of other nutrients. Improper conversion is associated with production of homocysteine and atherosclerosis. reduce the risk for lung cancer, even in smokers or former smokers.

Your only defense is improving your own understanding of health and taking as good of care of yourself as you possibly can.  Higher levels of vitamin B6 are needed to metabolize dietary protein in a healthy way.  When supplementing B6 always use the coenzyme Enzyme in its most active form that assists with biochemical transport and is considered an active constituent. form (pyridoxal 5’ phosphate) which is the exact form used in human metabolism.  Cheap forms like pyridoxine HCL make a nerve irritant as they are metabolized which can negate their health benefits and even cause nerve problems.  The coenzyme Enzyme in its most active form that assists with biochemical transport and is considered an active constituent. form of vitamin B6 does not have this side effect problem.
