Grape Seed Extract Stops Leukemia Cells

Friday, January 02, 2009  -  Byron Richards, CCN

A test tube study using grape seed extract1 found that it killed 76% of the leukemia cells within twenty-four hours.  This is the first study to pinpoint the gene-related signaling system of grape seed extract.  It was found to directly turn on signals in cancer cells that induced cell death.

Of course, grape seed extract helps keep healthy cells living.  Grape seed extract is one more nutrient with inherent intelligence that can assist the war on cancer.  Imagine if there was a drug that would kill cancer cells and leave normal cells alone – undoubtedly it would be a blockbuster.  Thankfully, there are a number of nutrients that do just that.
