Ginger Reduces Muscle Pain Following Exercise

Exercise is vital to your health, yet exercise breaks down body tissues in the process of building them up.  The ability to recover faster means you not only have less pain but you get a healthier response to exercise.  A new human study proves that ginger1, a well-known anti-inflammatory nutrient, significantly reduces the muscle pain following exercise.

This study shows that ginger is actually speeding up the recovery process and lessening the amount of muscle tissue damage induced by exercise.  This is a natural form of pain reduction that does not have any adverse side effects.  It applies to many other aspects of tissue health, including joint inflammation.  The study authors concluded, “Our findings agree with those showing hypoalgesic effects of ginger in osteoarthritis Degenerative joint disease. Most common type of arthritis that causes a chronic, progressive, breakdown in cartilage in middle-age adults and older. patients and further demonstrate ginger’s effectiveness as a pain reliever.”
