Premature deliveries are not only costly to the health care system they may cause health problems in the baby for years to come, especially the early onset of factors such as high blood pressure that lead to heart disease.  New research shows that taking folic acid for 1 year prior to becoming pregnant provides a 70% reduction in the risk for a very early pre-term deliveries (20 to 28 weeks in gestational age) and up to a 50% reduction in early pre-term deliveries of 28 to 32 weeks.
High quality co-enzyme folic acid is the superior choice, as contained in Daily Energy Multiple Vitamin.
