Excess NF-kappaB Drives Bone Loss

NF-kappaB is a gene switch that enables your cells to manage stress.  Its activation is required in order to deal with any sort of cellular problem.  However, excessively activated NF-kappaB is fundamental to every inflammatory problem – one of which is bone loss.  It has been known for some time that excess NF-kappaB accelerates the rate at which bones are taken down.  However, a new study shows that excess NF-kappaB actually gets in the way of your bone-buidling carpenter cells known as osteoblasts.  This finding means that managing inflammation is as important, if not more important, than the calcium and other nutrients that help build bones.

Women have been hoodwinked by ridiculous bone loss drugs which actually induce inflammation!  These drugs are known to slow done bone building as well as bone break down – leaving old bone in place.  However, their inflammatory effects actually cause bone to be chaotically swollen and weaker.

There are two important factors for bone health:
1) Nutrients like calcium that help build bones.
2) Nutrients that help lower inflammation – especially NF-kappa B.

Nutrients are highly superior at regulating NF-kappaB without side effects.  There are numerous nutrients in this category that are absolutely fantastic for bone health.  They include boswellia, tocotrienols, DHA, magnesium, quercetin, curcumin, and many more.
