Cranberry Lowers LDL Cholesterol

Saturday, April 18, 2009  -  Byron Richards, CCN

A new study has shown that cranberry supplements1 can significantly lower LDL and total cholesterol over a 12 week period.  This is a new use for a nutrient in widespread use.

Cranberry is the most popular supplement for urinary tract support and is also a potent natural diuretic.  It is often used to support weight loss efforts, especially to help get started, as it helps to dump stagnant water that often gets in the way of making progress.
