Cranberry Blocks Invasion of Lymphoma Cells

Cranberry is turning some heads.  In an animal experiment it was shown that an extract of cranberry could protect healthy tissues from the invasion of cancerous lymphoma cells.  Furthermore, cranberry was able to alert the immune system to the problem and actually enhance the production of antibodies to attack the lymphoma cells and inhibit tumor growth.

While nutrients in and of themselves are not a cure or treatment for cancer, it is nice to know that science is helping to identify their positive role in supporting health and naturally boosting immunity.
