Well now we know it must be true – even the Wall Street Journal is reporting the powerful anti-bacterial properties of cranberry extracts.  Long used as a proven folk remedy to treat urinary tract infections, scientists are now fascinated with the ability of cranberry proanthocyanadins to prevent infections from “sticking” to human cells.

New research has shown a wide use of cranberry, including ulcers, gastritis, and periodontal disease.  Cranberry extracts are a great way to get the benefits of cranberry without all the detrimental sugar of commercial juices.
