Blueberries Lower Blood Pressure & Prevent Damaged LDL Cholesterol in Overweight Individuals

A study with 48 overweight individuals with the metabolic syndrome found that 8 weeks of blueberries1 could lower their blood pressure and reduce free radical damage within their circulation. 

The blueberry supplemented group had up to a 6% reduction in blood pressure – not bad for a fruit.
