Arabinogalactan is a novel carbohydrate filtered for specific molecular weights that have immune-enhancing activity. In a new randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, study with 45 healthy adults taking arabinogalactan boosted the natural immune response to a vaccine for Streptococcus pneumoniae, a common cause of pneumonia. Participants took arabinogalactan every day for 72 days (4.5 grams per day). 23 days into the study they were given the vaccine. Various types of antibodies were significantly more elevated, indicating that arabinogalactan produced a superior immune-activation response to a germ challenge. I reported last week that tocotrienol Specialized form of vitamin E. Powerful antioxidant showing positive benefits for cholesterol, cardiovascular, neurological health and cancer risk reduction. vitamin E enhanced the immune response to a tetanus vaccine. Obviously, nutrients boost the response to a vaccine they are likely to boost the response to an actual attack. There are many nutrients that naturally help your immune system function normally, and arabinogalactan is one of them and safe to use even with infants (it is a branched carbohydrate). Share:
