Doctors Over-prescribe Reflux Meds to Infants 80% of the Time

The IQ of doctors needs to be measured. Are they really this stupid, or are they just puppets of Big Pharma? A new study1 has found that doctors are handing out acid suppressing medication to children far in excess of what they should be doing, threatening the digestive health of a child for a lifetime. Sure the child has digestive symptoms. Quite frankly, this 80% over-prescription finding most likely relates to numerous medications. Doctors today have almost no clue how to fix health issues besides robotically writing a prescription for a symptom-suppressing medication. Children must evolve a digestive system and an immune system. Giving acid suppressing medication to children who do not need it is outright damaging to the health of the child. The child will now not properly digest protein, the first line of defense against germs that are swallowed is now gone or seriously diminished, and the proper release of pancreatic digestive enzymes and normal peristaltic motion is disturbed. Doctors are becoming more dangerous than helpful, betraying the health of the American public and even its smallest members. Share:
