Uterine Prolapse

Q:   I'm a healthy 55 year old with advanced uterine prolapse. I'm trying to avoid surgery. Can you direct me to any resources that I could explore??

Barbara

A:   Using nutrients to strengthen the overall uterine tissue would be a wise thing to do. A comprehensive nutritional approach would be the Rejuvenation Pack which includes nutrients to help with overall repair, inflammation, and wear and tear. More specific products would include Skin Rejuvenator, Pyc 50, and Hyaluronic Acid that would assist with the overall tone of the uterine tissue. Use enough products to build strength of the tissue while performing daily Kegal exercises can be very helpful for the uterine prolapse issues.

Weight Loss and Pregnancy

Q:   I have been unable to lose the 50 pounds that I gained with my three pregnancies. What can I do?

A:   Pregnancy creates a huge demand on the body and clearly presents as a challenge to the leptin hormone. Start with the basics of following the Five Rules from The Leptin Diet. Then add support as needed. This includes the Leptin Control Pack, 2-3 packs per day and Daily Energy Multiple Vitamin. Daily Protein or Daily Protein Plus provides a nice way to get the day started off on the right foot and does not take a lot of time. This helps get the metabolism turned on and sustained throughout the day.

Weight Issues

Q:   I am more than 20 pounds overweight and have done every diet on the planet. I can lose weight, but I cannot keep it off. Help!

A:   When metabolism and the related hormones, most specifically leptin, but also cortisol, insulin, and thyroid hormones, have had to go through the dieting roller coaster, it is absolutely imperative to provide proper nutrients for the body. Without proper nutrient support, it is virtually impossible to stabilize difficult weight management issues. The Leptin Control Pack is the most comprehensive way to support weight management issues. It has been specifically designed to target each of the problematic areas of weight management including the hormone resistance issues with leptin, thyroid, insulin, and cortisol resistance. Additional nutrients have been included to help with the fluid retention frequently associated with obesity. The Leptin Control Pack contains Leptinal, Leptislim, Stress Helper, Thyroid Helper, Cinnamon Plus, and Mangosteen Plus. These products are also available for purchase separately.

Maintain Healthy Metabolism

Q:   I am normal body weight, but I want to maintain my figure. What do you suggest?

A:   Following the Five Rules work exceptionally well at maintain healthy metabolism along with maintaining a level of physical fitness. For general nutrient support, one may use Daily Energy Multiple Vitamin or the Daily Super Pack to cover basic or more comprehensive needs. If one has a lot of stress in their life, adding Pantethine or Stress Helper helps to offset the negative effects of stress on metabolism.

Thyroid Helper

Q:   I am currently taking Amour Thyroid/Synthroid medication. Can I take Thyroid Helper?

A:   You may take Thyroid Helper in conjuction with any thyroid medication as it will simply help the medication work better within the tissues. If there is any concern about interactions, simply take the medication two hours apart from the supplement.

Weight Issues

Q:   I am 10 -20 pounds overweight. I exercise regularly and eat well but the weight does not come off. What can be done?

A:   A basic approach for weight loss would be to use our Thyroid Booster Package. This contains the Daily Energy Multiple Vitamin, Iosol Iodine, and Thyroid Helper. These are basic products that will help turn metabolism back on that is not responding to eating well and exercise. Following the Five Rules (discussed in The Leptin Diet and Mastering Leptin) is also essential to getting the leptin hormone back on track. This will greatly influence metabolism towards burning extra fat stores.

Vitamin D

Q:   I am hearing more and more about Vitamin D. I get a lot of sun exposure in the summer, but I live in Minnesota, is that enough?

A:   Research is showing that Vitamin D is involved with many aspects of health with therapeutic levels higher than previously thought. Adequate Vitamin D intake is now 1000-2000 IU for most situations. Vitamin D is in Daily Energy, Daily Bone Xcel, Daily Builder and Bone Helper.

Osteopenia

Q:   My doctor recently diagnosed me with osteopenia? What can I do?

A:   Bone health depends on mineral intake and the level of wear and tear the body has to deal with. Find some combination of Daily Bone Xcel, Daily Builder, Bone Helper and Hyaluronic Acid to get adequate mineral intake and prevent excessive wear and tear.

A Healthier Weight Level

Q:   I am underweight. What can I do to achieve a healthier weight level?

A:   Underweight issues may be related to imbalanced leptin hormone signaling. It may also commonly be related to adrenal stress or malabsorption issues in the gut or other issues. It is important to determine what the underlying cause is. Nutrients to help include Leptinal for the leptin signaling, Stress Helper or Pantethine for adrenal stress or GI Soother, Noni Plus, Super Dophilus, Digestive Enzymes and Sulfur Plus. Daily Energy may be used along with any of the above products for any situation.

Eat every 5 - 6 hours

Q:   I hear so much about eating every three hours to maintain my body’s metabolism. Why do you recommend eating only every 5-6 hours?

A:   Proper insulin and leptin signaling requires that the food taken in be properly burned or utilized. When a person continues to eat either every 3 hours or grazes, then these signals do not get to work properly because the timing is too short to burn the food stores. This causes various states of hormone resistance to develop, i.e. insulin and leptin resistance, thus contributing to the obesity epidemic. Byron explains this in easy to understand detail, along with his 5 Rules for Healthy Eating and Leptin balance in his Leptin Diet. If you have not read it, you really need to do so, it is great!
